Kansas City/Topeka Employees: The Overland Park office will be open during normal business hours. Please get with your manager if you need to leave early to arrange child care.
Check-In is at 3:00 pm at the Hyatt Place Lenexa. This should give you plenty of time to settle into your room before heading to the corporate office.
Happy Hour and Dinner
All employees and their guests are invited to attend a casual happy hour and dinner at the Mercer Zimmerman Corporate Office. We will have drinks and a taco bar available from 4:00 - 8:00 pm.
Hotel Check In
Check-in time is at 3:00 pm at the Hyatt Place Lenexa. You may drop off your luggage at the front desk before the business meeting or leave your bags in your vehicle.
The meeting will be held in the hotel conference room from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. This is a chance for us to discuss our company as a whole. We will cover company structure, 2023 numbers, 2024 goals, and spend some time getting to know each other better. We will serve boxed lunches during the meeting.
Dan Deeble will be joining us as our guest speaker over the lunch hour. He will give a presentation titled On Purpose: Waking Up From A Deep Why. Relying on scientific data, research studies, and personal stories, we will explore the impact of purpose and its impact on our sense of fulfillment, relationships and the bottom line.
Dan Deeble is the founder and owner of Lost Ball Consulting and is a licensed guide with GiANT Worldwide. Dan has taught, coached, and trained organizations and thousands of people, including many C-level executives, in whole-life skills including relational conflict, work/life balance, change versus transition, communication and leadership development.
As an impact communicator, Dan has also been a trade show speaker, conference host, podcast host and guest, commencement speaker, and he gives a mean pre-game speech. Dan is married to Elise and together they have three brave daughters. In his spare time, he founded and currently serves as “The Commissioner” of KC WIFFLE, a 501(c)7 charity-driven adult Wiffle Ball league that has helped to raise over $1M. It has been said that Dan leads with a big heart but rules with a plastic fist.
Dinner and Presentation
Please arrive at 6:45 pm in the hotel conference room to be seated. Dinner will be served at 7:15 pm. The presentation will begin at 8:00 pm.

Feel free to hang out and play cornhole until the party ends at midnight.
The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast from 8:00 - 10:00 am. Join us to fuel up and say goodbye before we check out and depart.
