Wendy Guillies

Wendy Guillies is an accomplished executive with extensive expertise in strategy development and execution, talent management and organizational culture, marketing and communications, as well as board governance. Before joining Mercer Zimmerman, she served as interim CEO of the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City, MO. Prior to that, Wendy spent eight years as president and CEO of the $3 billion Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation in Kansas City, where she also spearheaded marketing and communications initiatives for 14 years. Earlier in her career, Wendy held leadership roles in communications, marketing, and public relations across both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. She is an active board member for several organizations, including Folience, a for-profit ESOP holding company in Iowa that was recognized as the national Employee Owned Company of the Year in 2022; the Center for American Entrepreneurship in Washington, DC; the National Center for Employee Ownership; Saint Luke’s South Hospital in Overland Park, KS; and Avila University in Kansas City, MO. Wendy and her husband are blessed with two adult daughters, a granddaughter, and three dogs.
